Lt Gen D.P. Pandey (Retd.)

Nearly Four Decades at the
Frontier of National Security

Lieutenant General D.P. Pandey (Retd.) served the Indian Army for nearly four decades, commissioned into the 9th Battalion, The Sikh Light Infantry on 14 December 1985. An alumnus of the National Defence Academy and the National War College, Washington D.C., he commanded in the most demanding operational theatres Siachen Glacier, Chushul, and the Line of Control in Jammu & Kashmir.

As General Officer Commanding of the Srinagar-based Chinar Corps (XV Corps), he directed critical counter-insurgency operations while pioneering transformative community outreach in the Kashmir Valley. He also served as Commandant of the prestigious Army War College before retiring on 30 June 2024.

He now translates four decades of crisis-tested strategic leadership into corporate mentorship, keynote addresses, and written works that bridge military precision with the demands of modern leadership.
